Apparently put together by a group that calls itself Idol Worship International — peculiarly enough, there are no individual credits — A Tribute to Kelly Clarkson contains covers of songs that appeared on the multi-platinum artist's first two albums, including "Since U Been Gone," "Behind These Hazel Eyes," "Miss Independent," and "A Moment Like This." Neither the playing nor the singing is particularly bad, but there's no reason to give the disc any attention when the original material is so readily available. The notes on the back of the disc inexplicably credit "a host of talented songwriters" involved with this, but...the songs were already written. And it's safe to say that it's not Clarkson who appears on the front and back of the packaging。
