HP Introduces New Phones

HP/Palm has just announced two new phones, the Veer and Palm 3. These phones are the beginning of the WebOS era for HP, and those who are looking for a compact smart phone that still has all the latest bells and whistles should be impressed. Unlike the 4.3 and 3.5 inch screen competitors on the market, HP's Veer probably has the smallest screen out there at only 2.6 inches.

Details about price and carries hasn't been released yet, but some of the technical specs have. HP Veer will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor with 800MHz speed, a 5 megapixel camera and 8GB of storage. There is also a slide out QWERTY keyboard, which is somewhat surprising give the size of this phone. The Pre also features the Snapdragon CPU at 1.4GHz, 512MB of DRAM, a 3.58-inch screen, and runs HP's WebOS 2.2, a QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixel camera and full web access and support tools.
